Large American flag raised high at Seneca

On this infamous day in American history, Seneca Fire Department is flying Old Glory in a big way.  A large American flag has been hoisted into the air today at Miracle Circle, thru the apparatus of the department’s extended ladder truck.  9-11 is especially meaningful to all fire fighters, as the profession lost some of its valued members who were among the first into the burning Twin Towers building in New York City. Richie Caudill, Seneca fire chief, said this afternoon, “Just making sure people don’t forget about the 343 fire fighters and the victims of 9-11.  It’s just our tribute to make sure they know we haven’t forgotten them.”
