Land for a new school is a complicated deal

The complicated issue of nailing down the right pieces of property to build a new Seneca school led the county trustees to once again adjourn to a closed-door session. The district previously designated properties at Wells Highway and Garrison Road as the future location for the replacement Seneca Middle School. In the way, however, it’s believed were clear title issues as well as DOT approval for road and highway entrances. Before last night’s executive session, trustees chairman Jerry Lee said the district is still considering the property at Wells Highway and Garrison Road, along with “other properties.”
