Kimbrell’s building downtown now belongs to Seneca

In one week’s time, the real estate holdings of the city of Seneca got a lot bigger, with the settlement of the Haynes legal matters and the acquisition of the adjoining Kimbrell’s building. Mayor Alexander, speaking on a 94.1 The Lake Coffee Time, says there are many ideas on what to do with the building. One is razing the old building which would create an opening between the blocks of Main and EN 1st. Arrangements are being made for a structural engineer to evaluate the building. City Administrator Moulder is at work to find state and federal grant money.
