Kenneth Roland Edgar

Fair Play– Kenneth Roland Edgar, 83, husband of Flora Aten Edgar, passed away Wednesday, February 9^th, 2022 at Cottingham Hospice House.

 

Born in Dallas, TX, Kenneth was the son of the late Harold Hampton Edgar and Elizabeth Messer Edgar.  Kenneth was the camp director for Wilderness Way Camp School for Girls, a United States Air Force veteran, and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.  Kenneth was also a member of the Fair Play Rotary and the Gideon’s. 

 

In addition to his wife, Kenneth is survived by his son, Timothy Lee Edgar (Marlena); and granddaughter, Emma Claire Edgar.

 

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Barbara Faye Pickens and Rebecca Dale.

 

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday, February 13^th, 2022, at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church with burial to follow at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery.   The family will receive friends 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm, Saturday, February 12, 2022, at Sandifer Funeral Home.
