Kay Elizabeth Chapman Chappell
Westminster – Kay Elizabeth Chapman Chappell, 68, wife of the late Phillip Lane Chappell, passed away on Saturday, July 17th, 2021 at Seneca Health and Rehabilitation.
Kay was born in Pelzer, South Carolina, and was the daughter of the late Bill A. Chapman and Sybil Elizabeth Madden Chapman. Kay retired from the textile industry where she worked as a technician and was a member of Mt. Tabor Baptist Church. Kay enjoyed gardening and was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.
Kay is survived by her sister, Debbie Cooley; grandson, Matthew Fowler and granddaughter, Elizabeth Fowler.
In addition to her husband, Phillip Lane Chappell, parents, Edna is preceded in death by a daughter; Vonda Kay Fowler, brother; Henry Lee Chapman, sisters; Lanta Jean Martin and Audrey Ann Chapman Campbell.
A graveside service will be held, 2:00 pm, Wednesday, July 21st, 2021, at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church Cemetery.
