Kathryn “Kat” Davis Roberson Benson
Formerly of Fairplay, South Carolina- Kathryn “Kat” Davis Roberson Benson, 87, former wife of the late Cecil Benson and the late Fred Emory Roberson, passed away May 13th, 2021 Capstone Nursing Facility.
A former native of Fairplay, South Carolina, she spent her lively hood in Mauldin, South Carolina. She was the daughter of the late William Delk Davis and Alice (Smith) Davis. She is a member of South Union Baptist Church and a longtime member of Mauldin First Baptist Church and was a homemaker.
Kat is survived by her sons; William A. “Andy” Roberson (Lou Anne) of Lowndesville, Mark A. Roberson (Chrissy) of Greenville; daughters, Sabrina R. Bostian (Michael) of Greenville; brother, Alton Davis of Easley; sister, Patricia Sanders of Powdersville; Best Friends, Doris Adragna and Penny McCory; eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husbands, Kat is preceded in death by brother Gene Davis and sister Martha Johnson.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2 pm, Sunday, May 16th, 2021 at South Union Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm, prior to the service at South Union Baptist Church.
