June O’Lee Phillips Sargent
Walhalla – June O’Lee Phillips Sargent, 69, widow of Bobbie Sargent, of 1159 Stribling Shoals Rd, passed away, February 28, 2019, at Linley Park Rehab HC Center.
Born in Oconee County, she was the daughter of the late Wade Plumer Phillips and Mary Watkins Phillips. June was a homemaker and a member of Eastern Star. She was of the Baptist faith.
June is survived by her sons, Stoney Sargent and Teddy Sanders of Long Creek; brothers, David Phillips of Long Creek and Pete Phillips of Seneca; sisters, Marcell Campbell of TX and Molly Whitner of Mt. Rest; and two grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Wade,
- J. Phillips, and Cleve Phillips, Sr.; and a sister, Polly Manning.
A memorial service will be held at 3 pm, Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:30-2:30 pm, at Sandifer Funeral Home.
