JULIA STEWART

Westminster – Julia Lee Marsengill Stewart, 88, passed away Thursday, December 15, 2022, at her residence.

Born in Mountain City, Georgia, Julia was the daughter of the late Edgar Judson Marsengill and Nellie Corina Carver Marsengill.  Julia retired from JP Stevens and was a member of Westminster Church of God.  Julia enjoyed reading her bible and spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.

Julia is survived by her sons, Michael Edward Burdette, Ronald L. Dodson (Leslie); special son, Randy Owens; daughters, LaDonnia Kay Gossett (George Cobb), and Patsy Gayle Nicholson; sister, Lula Elizabeth Runion; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

 

In addition to her husband and parents, Julia is preceded in death by her sister, Janette Louise Sheriff.

 

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm, Monday, December 19, 2022, at Sandifer Funeral Home with burial to follow at Oconee Memorial Park.   The family will receive friends and family from 12:00 pm to 2:00 pm prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home.
