Juanita King

 

Seneca, SC — Juanita Robinson King, 80, wife of the late Donald Alfred King, of Seneca, passed away Tuesday, July 27, 2021, at The Garden House of Anderson.

 

A native of West Union, SC, Mrs. King was the daughter of the late Claude Edgar and Geneva Hood Robinson. She worked for BellSouth in Seneca, Anderson and Greenville. Mrs. King was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church.  She was an amazing mama and the best nana ever.

 

Mrs. King is survived by her daughter: Debbi King Donmoyer (Jim); sisters: Maude Forester and Ruby Fletcher; sister-in-laws: Zoie Ledford and Dorothy (Alton) Williams; granddaughter: Leann Kleintop and Leann’s fiancé Sam.  She is also survived by her amazing nephews and nieces whom she loved very much.

 

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. King was preceded in death by her brothers: Edgar and Lamar Robinson; and sisters: Francis Peterson and Winona Perry.

 

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Hopewell Baptist Church with burial to follow at Oconee Memorial Park.

 

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, July 30, 2021, at Davenport Funeral Home. The family will also receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM, Saturday, July 31, 2021, prior to the service, at Hopewell Baptist Church.

 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.

 

The family is at their respective homes.
