JOYCE KATHERINE SHEALY PADEN

Fair Play- Joyce Katherine Shealy Paden, 96, widow of the late Pierce Eugene Paden, passed away November 14^th, 2022 at her home.  

 

Born in Prosperity, South Carolina on April 17, 1926, she was the daughter of the late Michael Clifton Shealy and Spencer Carter Shealy. She was a member of First Baptist Church Lagrange, Georgia, and attended South Union Baptist Church, Westminster, South Carolina. She was retired from the West Georgia Medical Center in LaGrange, Georgia.

 

Survivors include her daughter, Brenda J. Isbell of Fair Play, SC; grandchildren, Selena Martin and husband Jeff Martin, Thomas Clifton Isbell and wife Jennifer Isbell; grandchildren, Evana Martin, Iris Martin, Ariella Isbell, Elijah Isbell, and Paden Isbell; sister, Maxine Ann Thompson, of Roswell, Georgia and several nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to her parents, and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl J. Paden, and sister, Winfred Shealy Stockman, and a son-in-law, Gary Isbell.

 

A private graveside service will be at Oconee Memorial Park.
