Johnny Whiten Jr.

Fair Play – John “Johnny” Marion Whiten, Jr.,76, husband of Wanda Durham Whiten, passed away on Sunday, March 10^th, 2024, at his residence.

 

Born February 11^th, 1948, in Anderson, South Carolina, Johnny was the son of the late John Marion Whiten, Sr. and Gladys Honea Whiten. Johnny was a machine operator at Kravet, he attended Crossroads Baptist Church, and had a great passion for tractors and lawnmowers, he was known for working on them.

 

Johnny is survived by his beloved wife of 51 years, Wanda Durham Whiten; a son, Brian Whiten of Westminster; sisters, Pamela Allen of Dawsonville, GA, Kathy Rashley of Rock Hill, SC; one granddaughter, Grace Whiten; and one great grandson, Nathan Whiten.

 

Johnny is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers, Don Whiten, Dale Whiten; sisters, Joan Whiten, Brenda Whiten, Carolyn Nelson; and a grandson, Christopher Whiten.

 

Per Johnny’s wishes no service will be held.
