Johnny Singleton
Westminster – Johnny Paul Singleton, 59, husband of Gay Lynn Singleton, passed away on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Oconee Memorial Hospital.
Born in Toccoa, Georgia, Johnny was the beloved son of James Edward and Janice Marie Burrell Singleton. He was a Lineman with the city of Wilson, North Carolina. Johnny was a disabled Veteran of the United States Marine Corps.
Johnny is survived by his parents, James and Janice Singleton; wife, Gay Singleton; children, Kristin Singleton of Seneca, Sarah White of Colorado, Rebecca Griggs of Westminster, Chad Owen Nelson of Florida; grandchildren, Liliana Gabel, Tailyn Carter, Jaxom Hulsey, Jemma Nelson, Wyatt Griggs, Emery Griggs, Raelynn Griggs; siblings, Kenneth Singleton, Sherry Smith (David) of Seneca, Danny Singleton (Melissa) of Seneca; and several nieces and nephews.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:30 pm, Sunday, February 25th, 2024 at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens with Military Honors. The family will receive friends and family from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home.
