Johnny Daugherty

 

Westminster– Johnny Lee Daugherty, 66, husband of Cynthia “Marie” Rogers, passed away, Wednesday, August 30^th, 2023 at Oconee Memorial Hospital.

 

Born in Oconee County, South Carolina, Johnny was the son of the late Joe Harold Daugherty and Linda Lenora McJunkin Daugherty.   Johnny was employed for 28 years at West Point Stevens, retired after 16 years from Johnson Control and worked at Walmart. He was a member of The Potter’s House Church, had a passion for motorcycles and loved music.

 

Johnny is survived by his loving wife, of 49 years, Cynthia “Marie” Rogers; a son, Shane Daugherty (Emma Webb) of Westminster; daughter, Stephanie Daugherty (Ricky Banks) of Westminster; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; uncle, JW McJunkin; niece, Elizabeth Daugherty; and numerous cousins and additional family.

 

In addition to his parents, Johnny is preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry Dean Daugherty, and Joe Delane Daugherty.

 

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 4:00 pm, Tuesday, September 5^th, 2023 at The Potter’s House Church.  The family will receive friends and family from 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm, Tuesday, September 5^th, 2023 at The Potter’s House Church.
