Jerry Wooten

Westminster– Jerry Lyn Wooten, 63, husband of Theresa Fretwell, passed away on Monday, March 18^th, 2024 at his residence.

 

Born January 30^th, 1961, in Hendersonville, North Carolina, Jerry was the son of the late John Wesley and Velma Irene Henry Wooten. Jerry enjoyed working in landscaping, fishing, spending time outdoors with family and friends and was of the Baptist faith.

 

He is survived by his wife, Theresa Fretwell; son, Joseph “Dean” Fretwell of Westminster; daughter, Anika Wooten (Andrew Fant) of Westminster; four grandchildren, Patrick Ridley of California, Dalton Presley of Westminster, Senoanna Fant of Westminster, and Scarlett O’Dell of California; brothers, Jackie Wooten (Renee) of Mountain Rest, SC, Charlie Rochester (Angie) of Seneca; and a sister, Gail Blackwell (Sidney) of Westminster.

 

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers, James Wooten, Douglas Wooten, Gary Wooten, Tony Wooten, and Terry Wooten.

 

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, March 22^nd, 2024, at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends and family prior to the service, 10:00 am – 11:00 am, at Sandifer Funeral Home.
