Jerry Frank Whaley
Seneca- Jerry Frank Whaley, 79, husband of the late Lillie Burrell Whaley, passed away July 8, 2020 at Prisma Health Cottingham Hospice House, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Ware Place, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Joe and Ollie Bell Allen Whaley. Jerry was a retired truck driver of 45 years and a member of Cheohee Baptist Church. Jerry was an avid golfer and loved his family and church family dearly.
Jerry is survived by his son, Reverend Jeff Whaley and wife Tracy; and grandchildren, Bryson and Holly Whaley.
In addition to his parents and wife, Jerry is preceded death by his brothers, Randolph Whaley, Ray Whaley, Perry Whaley; sisters, Glenna Somero, Betty Taylor, Joan Dove.
A Funeral Service will be held 11:30am, Friday, July 10th, 2020 at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held between the hours of 10am and 11am prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home.
The family is at the home of Jerry’s son and daughter-in-law, Reverend Jeff and Tracy Whaley, 1118 Jody Dr. Seneca, SC 29678.
