Jerald “Lex” Wilbanks

 

Seneca- Jerald “Lex” Wilbanks, 31, of 314 Easter Lane, husband of Erica Quentin Wilbanks, passed away Friday, July 9th, 2021, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

 

Born in Seneca, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Jerald Walt Wilbanks and Tammy Bonner of Seneca. Lex was a graduate of Columbia Southern University, and was the entrepreneur of American Roofing, American Plumbing and Eclipse Salon. He was an inspiration to everyone he met and lived by example.

 

In addition to his mother, and wife, Erica Quentin Wilbanks, Lex is survived by his children, Jersey Wilbanks and Malachi Wilbanks of the home; brothers, Austin Raffaldt of Seneca, Rudy Wilbanks of Mountain Rest, Brandon Bonner of Seneca, Jared Bright of Walhalla; sister, Amber Raffaldt of Seneca, Jessica Wilbanks of Mountain Rest; paternal grandmother, Doris Wilbanks of Mountain Rest; maternal grandmother, Betty Allgood of Seneca; step-father, Wayne Raffaldt of Seneca;  MeMaw and PePaw of Seneca; Sisters-In-Laws, Christian Dailey of Walhalla, Kesslin Cole of Seneca;  aunts, Squeek and Boo Boo of Mountain Rest, Teressa Campbell of Seneca; mother-in-law, Ronda Poole of  West Union; father-in-law,  Brad Thomas of West Union; amazing uncle to McKenna Dailey, Mayken Dailey, Bubba Dailey, Cash Dailey, Braydon Bonner, Brandon Bonner Jr., Bentley Bonner, Allie Foster and Jason Foster; and an army of friends.

 

Lex is preceded in death by his father, Jerald Walt Wilbanks; paternal grandfather, Walt Wilbanks.

 

A celebration of life service will be held 3:00 pm, Saturday, July 24th, 2021, at Evergreen Cemetery.  The family will receive friends following the celebration service.
