Jean Dickens Holibaugh

 

Westminster– Emogene “Jean” Gordon Dickens Holibaugh, 83, wife of Gerald Holibaugh, passed away on Saturday, September 2nd, 2023 at their residence.

 

Born in Biloxi, Mississippi, Jean was the daughter of the late Ernest Howard Nash and Rebecca Miller.  Jean retired from the Banks County Public Library. She enjoyed reading, learning new things and traveling.

 

Jean is survived by her husband, Gerald Holibaugh of Westminster; son, Chris Gordon of Fort Walton, Florida; daughters, Regina Synder (David) of  Maysville, Georgia, Stacy Krumnow (Randy) of Homer, Georgia; daughter-in-law, Tammy Gordon ( the late Jason Gordon) of Maysville, Georgia;  step children, Lynn Hendrix (Jerry) of Lakemoor, Illinois, Andrea Burrell (Mark) of Gray Court, South Carolina, Kimberly Miller (Steve) of Simpsonville, South Carolina; grandchildren, Brandon Gordon, Christina Gordon, Clayton Minish, Austin Gordon, MaKayla  Gordon, Preston Krumnow, Randi Leigh Krumnow , Nathan Krumnow, Zachary Snyder; and ten great grandchildren.

 

In addition to her parents, sister and 2 brothers, Jean is preceded in death by her son, Jason Gordon; her first husband, Ben P. Gordon and second husband, James Robert Dickens.

 

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2:00 pm, Saturday, September 16th, 2023 at Sandifer Funeral Home.
