JEAN CARVER

Seneca – Mary Jean McCurley Carver, 61, wife of Louis Monroe Carver, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 20, 2022.   

 

Born in Dothan, Alabama, Jean was the daughter of Willene Clark McCurley of Hartwell, GA, and the late Rev. James E. McCurley.  Jean worked for 21 years with Clemson University and was a member of Hosanna Christian Ministries.  Jean enjoyed going to the mountains, Christian music, and watching TV.

 

In addition to her mother and husband, Jean is survived by her brothers, Rev. Gary McCurley (Sue), and Phillip McCurley (Terry); sister, Lea Powell (Barry); and many beloved nieces, nephews, friends, and her in-laws.

 

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm, Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Heritage Memorial Gardens.  The family will receive friends and family from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home.
