JANIE WHITE

Seneca– Janie Ruth Crowe White, 86, wife of the late Joel Alfred White, passed away on Wednesday, May 1^st, 2024 at MH Eckerd Living Center in Highlands, North Carolina.

 

Born May 24, 1937, in Oconee County, South Carolina, Janie was the daughter of the late James Bethel and Edna Nannie Bruce Crowe. Janie was a retired CNA who, later in life became a private sitter after caring for her mother. She was known as a farm wife and a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church.  

 

Janie is survived by her sons, Allen White (Lisa) of Sapphire, NC, Neal White (Bonnie Glenn) of Evans, GA; and eight grandchildren, Maria White Owens (Isaac), Anna White, Bella White, Garrett White, Rosie White, Sophia White, Jayden, and Madi.

 

A graveside service will be held 11 am Tuesday, May 7^th, 2024 at Beaverdam Baptist Church, with visitation to follow the service.
