James “Jimmy” Henderson

Seneca – James Morgan “Jimmy” Henderson, 79, of 600 Tall Oak Trail, husband of Lynn Nichols Henderson, passed away Saturday, January 23rd, 2021 at his residence.

 

He was born in Anderson, South Carolina, was the son of the late James Henry and Edith DeFoor Henderson.  Mr. Henderson served in the United States Coast Guard, was retired from Johnson Control and was of Baptist Faith.

 

He is survived by his wife, Lynn Nichols Henderson of  27 years; daughter, Wendy Stewart (Mike) of Bell, Florida; sons, Brad Hampton (Connie) of Easley, SC, Andy Hampton (Samantha) of West Union, SC; sixteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, two nieces, two nephews, and several great nieces and nephews.

 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, James Warren Henderson Sr.; brother, Henry Henderson; granddaughter, Chelse Henderson; grandson, Matthew Hampton; nephew, Bo Foxworth; a sister, Mahala Henderson Foxworth.

 

A funeral service will be held 12:00 pm, Saturday, January 30th, 2021 at Heritage Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with military honors. The family will receive friends from     11:00 am – 12:00 pm, prior to the service, Saturday, January 30th, 2021 at the Heritage Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.
