It’s Vaccine Action Week in South Carolina

Vice President Harris is in Greenville today to encourage South Carolinians to roll up their sleeves to be vaccinated.  This is the start of the week that the state health agency calls Vaccine Action Week.  At last report, fewer than one in four South Carolinians have been fully vaccinated.  DHEC urges those who haven’t rolled up their sleeves to do and encourage friends and family, as well, to receive their vaccines.  Today, 30 DHEC public health department and other clinics are offering vaccinations with no appointments or insurance required.  The Moderna vaccine is available today at two Seneca locations:  from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm at the Shaver Recreation Complex; and from 9:30 am to noon at the Golden Corner Food Pantry, 635 Business Park Drive. Again, walk-ins are accepted.
