It’s a political year in the Keowee Fire District

Besides electing a president, voters this year in an Oconee County fire district will fill two seats on the fire district policy-making board.  Residents within the fire district, based at Keowee Key, may file their candidacies between July 27 and August 7.  During that two-week period, those interested should file their non-partisan candidacy statements with the Oconee Board of Registration and Elections at 415 S. Pine Street.
