Intersection wreck involved Seneca squad car

A two-car accident this morning at a Seneca intersection involved a Seneca police vehicle and apparent injury to two people who were taken to hospitals.  The accident occurred around 7:30 at 123 By-Pass and E. North First.  State trooper Hovis said the police vehicle was headed west and was attempting a turn onto N. 1st; the second vehicle, a Buick, was eastbound on 123.  The Buick driver was flown by medical helicopter; the police officer was sent by ground transportation to the hospital.  Chief bowling says the officer sustained minor injuries. Hovis says the accident is under investigation.
