Intersection work could be “bumped” into funding list

As one year passes into another, Seneca gets closer to finally seeing something done in a major way to improve the 123-130/East End intersection—frequently clogged by traffic and backups. Lance Estep of the South Carolina Appalachian Council of Governments lays out the potential of a two-to-three-year timeline before funding is recommended. Considering how commercial development crowds the intersection at all entry points, it’s thought any major improvements at the intersection are going to be expensive. The intersection remains on a long-range list.
