In today’s virus report, two numbers stand out

In today’s report by DHEC, two numbers catch the eye’s attention.  Confirmed new COVID-19 cases continue their ascent across South Carolina — 1,392.  And the number of tests processed to determine the spread jumped to 14,761 for the 24 hour count that finished at the end of Wednesday.  Of the some 1,300 new cases, 16 were Oconee County residents.  Statewide, there were two more deaths.  Of the tests results received, the state’s new positivity is 12.5%.  It had been 15.4% the previous day.
