In spite of complications, new school timeline holds

Electric power work and delays in supplies are complicating those at work on building Seneca’s replacement middle school.  However, district administrator Steve Hanvey remains confident that an August 2024 opening date will be made.  The associate superintendent reported at last night’s trustees meeting that changes must be made on the Wells Highway property to accommodate electric power considerations.  That combined with a delay in receiving and an increasing cost of items needed for the new school building is an obstacle that the planners are dealing with by ordering some things ahead of time.
