In remembrance of pre-COVID days

One of COVID’s many impacts has been a tightening of economic activity, but an Oconee County official last night recalled the period just prior to the world pandemic and a bustling of commercial and industrial activity in the county.  Chris Eleazer, in an information report to the county planning commission, told of a 253% increase in flow commitment for the Joint Regional Sewer Authority’s facilities.  Eleazer told the county planners that responsible for the                                                                                                  added wastewater treatment activity were expanded industrial and commercial business developments in some of the busiest parts of the JRSA service territory.
