In-person absentee voting starts Monday

Here’s an announcement from the Oconee Elections Office:  “In-person absentee will open on Monday May 4. (8:30-5)
• We ask that voters remain 6 ft. apart during the entire process.(Social distancing will be enforced inside and outside of the building). Be aware that lines could possibly form outside of the building.
• Public access and entrance to the other parts of the building will remain limited.
• We ask that everyone wear a mask.
• Bring their own pen if they can.
• Voter ID laws will still be in effect.
• Most of all we ask for their patience as things will move much slower during these circumstances.”
