In 24-hour period, one COVID case reported

 

The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (DHEC) today announced 704 new confirmed cases and 26 new probable cases of the novel coronavirus COVID-19, 17 additional confirmed deaths and one new probable death.  In today’s report there was only one new case reported from Oconee and no additional county deaths.

This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 107,274, probable cases to 1,137, confirmed deaths to 2,248, and 112 probable deaths.

The total number of individual test results reported to DHEC yesterday statewide was 4,195 (not including antibody tests) and the percent positive was 16.8%.
