Illinois man jailed after Oconee incident
An incident in the parking lot of a Sandifer Boulevard business Wednesday night last week landed a 33-year old man in jail—charged with pointing and presenting a firearm. The Sheriff’s Office identified the man arrested as Hampshire, Illinois resident Joshua Huskins (right). According to the Sheriff’s Office, a deputy took statements in which the victims of the incident alleged that Huskins had used a racial slur against two of them and had presented a firearm that he waved in the presence of four people in a threatening manner.
