If local artist wins, the “Y” benefits

 Oconee County artist and art educator Libby Imbody is entering a contest and, if she wins, she’ll donate the money to the project to build a county YMCA. Imbody has entered a piece in an “Inspired Tire” art contest, sponsored by Michelin Tire. Those who enter are to create a diversity-themed piece using up to four scrap tires. There will be two winners—each receiving a donation of $5 thousand to the charity of their choice.
