If Herb Poole ran, he might win by a landslide

No matter the year, whenever Westminster folks gather to talk the issues of their city they often agree that one of the best things that Oconee’s third largest municipality offers is its hardworking and seemingly tireless recreation director, Herb Poole.  Some of the candidates during last night’s forum marveled about what Poole accomplishes for children, and speculated about how the recreation program can expand with more funds and the development of the city-owned Hall Street property.  If there were a villain during last night’s forum, it was social media.  Some of the candidates spoke with disdain about the propensity of some people who use the technology to degrade their city.
