“I Voted” sticker contest

Oconee students as young as the elementary grade age can have a part in this year’s November General Election.  The office of Voter Registration and Elections invites county students in grades K-12 the chance to design a new “I Voted” stickers to be given to voters who cast ballots for the November election.  Entries will be accepted Wednesday, June 5 through Wednesday, July 31 at each library, the Voter Registration Office in Walhalla, and The Journal office in Seneca.  The top five designs in each age group will be posted on UpstateToday.com with links on the Library Facebook page in August for public voting.  Prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd in each group.
