Hubert Rudolph McAlister
West Union, SC– Hubert Rudolph McAlister, 67, of 4050 Safety Harbor Road, West Union, passed away Monday, September 27, 2021, at Oconee Memorial Hospital.
A native of Seneca, SC, Mr. McAlister was the son of the late Clarence and Alfia Bell Smith McAlister. He retired from WestPoint-Stevens and was of the Methodist faith.
Mr. McAlister is survived by his brothers: John William McAlister of West Union, SC and Frank Edward McAlister of West Union, SC; and sisters: Alfia Carolyn Neal of Walhalla, SC and Margie Lucille Burrell of West Union, SC.
In addition to his parents, Mr. McAlister was preceded in death by his brothers: James Robert McAlister, Sr., Freddie Joseph McAlister, Tommy Vester McAlister and Donald Charles McAlister; and sisters: Betty Ruth Walker and Mildred McAlister.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Friday, October 1, 2021, at Davenport Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Oconee Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 PM, Friday, prior to the service, at Davenport Funeral Home.
