Honors to be accorded pastor couple

Long-time fixtures in the field of faith are to be honored during October in Seneca.  Vera and Ted Edgar felt the call to minister when they were teenagers and married in 1961.  At the Full Gospel Temple on the Wells Highway, the Edgars have pastored an inter-denominational fellowship for nearly 60 years.  The Rev. Wayne Morton of the Oconee Ministerial Association announces that Seneca City Council will present the Edgars a proclamation at city hall the evening of October 10.  The following day is reserved for additional presentations in an event to be hosted by the Mountain View Funeral Home.  For many years, Ted Edgar conducted a radio program on WSNW, Seneca.
