Home disturbance call turns into drug case

Late at night Wednesday the Walhalla police responded to a home on N. Johnson Street to investigate the potential of a domestic disturbance. The police presence turned into a drug investigation and two people at the home were arrested. Chief Sean Brinson announces the arrests of April Dawn White and Richard Eugene Cantrell on charges of marijuana possession and trafficking methamphetamine. Brinson said his officers found a small amount of marijuana and about 22 grams of methamphetamine. White and Cantrell were taken to jail. Surety bonds were set in the amount of $20,615.
