Hit-run last summer remains a case to be solved

Crimestoppers of Oconee and the Highway Patrol are asking the public’s help on a hit-and-run accident that occurred August 13 at the highway 123 7-11 between Seneca and Clemson. They are trying to identify an individual involved in the accident. A video from 1:57 pm on that summer day depicts a dark gray or green Chevy Trailblazer that backed from a parking space in front of the store and collided with a 2002 Ford Thunderbird. As the vehicles moved to another area in the parking lot to exchange information, the Trailblazer left and headed south on 123—eventually turning on Wells Highway in the direction of Shiloh Road. If you have information that can help the state patrol, call Crimestoppers at 1/888-CRIME-SC. You don’t have to give your name and your information is kept confidential. If your tip leads to an arrest, you could be eligible for a cash reward.
