Heavy rainfall forceast for Upstate South Carolina

A good chunk of the Upstate can expect 2-4 inches of rain later tomorrow through early Wednesday.  The weather watcher at the South Carolina DNR says Ida has the potential to cause flooding, but the situation is liable to not be as serious as the recent storm named Fred.  The other concern is a risk for isolated tornadoes, partly because Ida will pass through the region at night when it’s easier to miss a warning.
