Head-on crash takes life of educator

A Stephens County, Georgia educator lost her life this morning in a head-on crash near the Toccoa city limits. WNEG Radio reports the fatality was Connie Powell, a para-professional at the Big A Elementary School. The Georgia patrol is investigating the accident around 6 am on West Currahee Street near Davis Mountain Road. The identity of the second driver has not been released.
