Head-on crash in residential area near Seneca
One of two cars involved in a head-on crash during the noon hour near Seneca left the road and went down an embankment. The highway patrol says the 17-year old driver of a Nissan sedan, the car that wound up down an embankment, was sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Patrol spokesman Joe Hovis said the accident was logged at 12:20 pm on Fernwood Drive near Sourwood. According to Hovis, the second driver—Toni Kathleen Straw of Seneca, received a citation for driving left of center.
