Hattie Ruth Boggs

Westminster – Hattie “Ruth” Boggs, 78, of 649 Cobb Bridge Road, passed away on Wednesday, July 14^th, 2021 at Prisma Health Oconee Memorial Hospital.

 

Ruth was born in Oconee County and was the daughter of the late William Hoyt Boggs and Annie Bell Burnside Boggs.  Ruth retired from Dunlop where she was a packer and was a member of Holly Springs Baptist Church and former Sunday school teacher.

 

Ruth is survived by her brother, Eddie Boggs of Westminster; niece, Melissa Boggs of Anderson; nephew, Keith Boggs of Anderson; great-nephew, Corbyn Boggs of Anderson.

 

In addition to her parents, Ruth is preceded in death by her sister, Hilda Boggs Fleming.

 

A funeral service will be held, 11:00 am, Saturday, July 17^th, 2021, at Sandifer Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Burnside Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am – 11:00 am, prior to the service at Sandifer Funeral Home.
