Haley joins the Clemson Board of Trustees

Nikki Haley has been named to the board of trustees at Clemson University.  She’s a former South Carolina governor who, during the early part of Donald Trump’s presidency, represented the country at the United Nations.  The Bamberg native and Kiawah Island resident has also been speculated as a possible candidate some time on a presidential ticket.  On the Clemson board, she succeeds David Wilkins of Greenville, who retired after serving since 2007, including six years as board chairman.  Haley’s appointment

is effective immediately.
