Grahl Delano “Buck” Haney Jr.

 

Grahl Delano (Buck) Haney Jr., age 42, of Dalton GA formerly of Westminster, SC passed away on Monday, February 28, 2022, at his residence. He was the loving husband of Amanda Kate Haney of Dalton GA.

 

Buck began his service to man in the eleventh grade where he started as a first responder going on to be a firefighter, paramedic, and Flight Paramedic with numerous agencies to include Westminster Fie Dept., Seneca Fire Dept, Myrtle Beach Fire Dept., Charleston Fire Dept. and was a flight paramedic with Life Flight, Med-trans, and Life Net of SC. He served the citizens of Oconee County as a Battalion Chief with Oconee County Emergency Services, and as a member of the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office.

 

In addition to his wife he is survived by his parents; Grahl Delano Haney Sr. and Vivian Gwyn (Gibson) Haney of Westminster SC, children; Issac Haney, Kindell Haney, Eli Haney, Aaron Haney all of Westminster SC, and Ashley Haney of Dalton GA, siblings; Gabrial “Gabe” Haney (Ashley), Davina Dorthea Haney, Hanna Livingston (Clint), Caleb Haney (Jennifer) of Westminster, father and mother in-law; James and Tammy Pritchett of Dalton GA, brother and sister in-law; Rickey and Madison Roberts, Tabitha Pritchett, Timothy Pritchett, Marshall Pritchett, and Andrew Pritchett of Dalton GA, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Buck is preceded in death by his grandparents Edna Haney, Homer Rupert Haney Sr., Bill and Doris Gibson

 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2022, between 5:00pm and 8pm at Mountain View Funeral Home in Seneca, SC.  A funeral service will be held the following day, Thursday, March 3rd, 2022, at Holly Springs Baptist Church in Westminster, SC beginning at 2:00pm. Internment will take place at the conclusion of the service at Heritage Memorial Gardens, Westminster, SC.
