Graham’s tax returns there for the viewing

Senator Lindsey Graham announces the release of 11 years of his South Carolina and federal income tax returns.  The announcement from Graham’s campaign office shows the main source of the senator’s returns is his congressional salary ($174 thousand) which has not changed in 11 years. According to his campaign, Graham has never voted for a pay increase while serving in the Senate.  Five years ago, the Republican from Oconee began drawing military retirement pay for 33 years’ service in the Air Force, Air Force Reserves, and the National Guard.  Graham’s communications director, T-W Arrighi, says the senator is one of the least wealthy members of the chamber.  Arrighi today called on Democratic nominee Jaime Harrison to “come clean”–as Arrighi put it–on how much he made as a high-paid lobbyist.
