Graham, Duncan, and Trump–all running next year

Both Senator Graham and Representative Duncan are offering for re-election next year. While both made clear today in Seneca that while they seek new terms, they want voters to elect Donald Trump to a second term as President. Oconee Republicans from 10 of 16 precincts enthusiastically greeted Graham and Duncan as the featured speakers at the GOP convention held in the Seneca High School auditorium. Duncan, the 3rd District representative to Washington, concluded his remarks by saying he looks forward to seeing many Oconee Republicans in Charlotte next year where he predicts national delegates will nominate Trump for a second, 4-year term. Graham shares Duncan’s prediction, but the two of them spoke with concern about what they describe as a move by the Democratic Party toward socialists ideals, with the goal of re-capturing the White House in the 2020 elections. Fun is not the word that Duncan used to describe the House of Representatives, where Republicans are no longer the majority party. Graham vowed that while he is actively seeking a new term, he’s going to go where he has to campaign for Republicans running for the Senate, the House, and President.
