Graham delivers answer to his critics

Chairman Lindsey Graham of the Senate Judiciary Committee delivered an answer yesterday to critics who say he’s gone political in the process to nominate a successor for Ruth Bader Ginsburg.  The Republican U-S senator from Oconee says he’s had a change of mind about the judicial-confirmation process and believes it important to proceed right away to process any nominee put forth by President Trump.  To his critics, including those who staged a loud demonstration yesterday at Graham’s Washington home, he said, “I am certain if the shoe were on the other foot, you would do the same.”
