Graham and McMaster address the pandemic

Senator Lindsey Graham wants a strong signal sent to China for that nation’s culpability for the spread of the COVID-19 virus.  In his opening statement to a hearing he chaired in Washington, Graham declared, “The entire world needs to send a strong signal to the Chinese Communist Party that enough is enough.”  He and his fellow committee members convened to consider whether changes are appropriate to the Foreign Sovereign Immunities Act” to allow lawsuits against the country he blames for the virus spread.  In Columbia yesterday, Governor McMaster announced a Palmetto Priority initiative to place decals in restaurants that practice safe sanitary practices and to encourage the public to report restaurants that fail to social distance and whose workers do not wear the proper protective face coverings.
