Grady Smith

Westminster – Grady Joyce Smith, 71, husband of Kathy Swafford Smith, 115 Oak Grove Road, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020 at Prisma Health Oconee Medical Center.

 

 A native of Oconee County, he was the son of the late Henry and Julie Mae Teague Smith.  Mr. Smith worked as a logger and truck driver and was of the Holiness Faith. Grady was an avid Nascar fan and his greatest love was his family.

 

Survivors in addition to his wife include daughters, Joyce Grant and Anita Blakely (Eric); brother, Calvin Smith; four grandchildren, Bayleigh Blakely, Austin Hancox, Cody Talley, and Tracie Talley.

 

 In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Charles Smith.

 

A funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm, Sunday, December 20^th, 2020 at the Chapel of Sandifer Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Heritage Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12-2 pm, Sunday, December 20^th, 2020 at Sandifer Funeral Home.
