Gloria Hosford
Seneca, SC – Gloria J. Riesdorph Hosford, 76, resident of Keowee Key, loving wife of Donald A. Hosford, passed away on Wednesday, March 1st, 2023 at Prisma Health – Oconee Memorial Hospital.
Born in Erie, Pennsylvania, Gloria was the daughter of the late Ross and Isabel Duke Riesdorph. Gloria enjoyed golfing, swimming and bowling and was a long-time member of Lake Shore Country Club in Erie, Pa. But her greatest joy was being “Bapoo” to her grandchildren. She was a member of St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church of Seneca, SC and St. Jude The Apostle Catholic Church in Erie.
Gloria is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Donald A. Hosford; sons, Donnie Hosford and wife Michelle, Alan Hosford and wife Angela; daughters, Holly Morphy and husband Erik, Heather West and husband Tom; eighteen grandchildren, Colin, Emily, Laura, and Caitlin Morphy; Frankie, Clare, Mary, Joey, Johnny, and Benny West; Harrison, Jameson, Maeve, and Max Hosford; Aidan, Soraya, Landon and Arianna Hosford.
In addition to her parents, Gloria is preceded in death by her grandson, Mason Hosford.
A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date at St. Jude The Apostle Catholic Church in Erie and a Memorial Mass will be held at a later date at St. Paul The Apostle Catholic Church, Seneca, SC.
