Georgia man charged with theft and burglary in Oconee
Oconee County law enforcement records identify a 27-year old Georgia man as having been arrested and charged in a crime investigation at a Fair Play business. The records show Toccoa resident James Saul Dugas arrested yesterday and charged with burglary second degree and grand larceny at Wood-Tex Products on s. highway 11 at Fair Play. Wood-Tex makes cabins, horse barns, and storage sheds. A deputy started an investigation June 1 after the property owner told him someone made entry, stole tools from the shop area and took a utility trailer from behind the building. According to the deputy’s report, a GPS device tracked the trailer and its last known location was Easley.
